Sunrise Spa
At Sunrise Utila Health Spa we specialize in providing a peaceful and serene Utilan spa and wellness experience. Whether you are in search of a relaxing Utila massage, in need of healing from a sports injury, or need a more in-depth wellness/medical experience, Luzia Bodden has the skill and care to heal your mind and body. As a physical therapist, massage therapist and ICU nurse, Luzia will tailor a treatment for you leaving you feeling your best. She speaks German, Spanish and English.
Located just up the hill from Mango Inn, our spa room’s garden view is complete with local trees and flowers. We provide a variety of treatments including relaxing Utila massage, targeted massages such as back or scalp only, reflexology, restorative pedicures, and therapeutic massages to help heal and soothe injuries. If you are on a diving holiday, an invigorating leg massage will restore health and energy to your legs and help soothe and prevent leg cramps. All treatments are natural and effective, utilizing essential oils, sterile saline and years of knowledge and experience.
With many options to choose from, you can be soothed by aromatherapy utilizing high quality essential oils; or perhaps enjoy an energizing body scrub using the purified sands of Utila.

Holistic Energy Healing Massage
A holistic practice to help balance, heal and remove blockage from the body. Focusing on restoring flow, balance, harmony and vitality within the body when you feel fatigue, depleted and unwell. When combined with natural essential oils restoring energy flow throughout your body, you feel more vibrant and healthier.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A form of gentle massage combined with specific essential oils, enhancing the movement of lymph fluid around the body, which should reduce swelling, leaving your body feeling invigorated and lighter.
Myofascial Pain Relief Massage
In combination with essential oils and energy this massage increases soft tissue mobility. Reducing pain within the musculoskeletal system through precise and slow movements to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and increase the elasticity of the muscles.
Head Massage
A releasing and clearing massage focusing on your head combining ice and essential oils to lessen muscle tensions on your head and neck. If you are dealing with a new medical diagnosis or existing diagnosis, managing multiple doctors and specialists can be overwhelming. We will review your history and listen to all your concerns to help create a plan to navigate through the medical community. Luzia is a registered ICU nurse who speaks German, Spanish, and English and will provide the medical background and knowledge to support you and provide you with peace of mind.
Home Health Services
We provide a wide range of health services and can tailor a plan specific to your needs including in-home rehabilitation recovery service after surgery or a hospital stay and end of life hospice care.
MediManicure
A medical grade aroma restorative manicure for those suffering from arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, or neuropathy using massage therapy, essential oils and soaking.
MediPedicure
A medical grade aroma restorative pedicure for those suffering from diabetes, poor blood flow, foot deformity, nerve damage or infections. Using massage therapy, natural essential oils and soaking, we will get you back on your feet.
Chronic Pain Care
Pain is your body’s normal reaction to an injury or illness, a warning that something is wrong. When your body heals, the pain normally subsides. However, for some people, the pain continues. We can review your history and design a custom plan to help address your concerns and start you on the path to recovery.
Physical Therapy
